Audience response.

After creating my questionnaire, I handed it out to a number of people, mostly within the 12-18 age range. The most popular music genre was RnB, Indie and Pop. However, there were also a couple of people who preferred genres such as Rock and Hip Hop. All of the questionnaires that were filled in would all be interested in finding out about up and coming artists. A lot of the people that I handed out the questionnaire to, have never bought a music magazine, but they claimed that they would be interested in buying one that was of mixed genres and included up and coming artists as they would be interested in finding out about new acts before they actually appeared on TV, internet etc. Out of the five names that I included in my questionnaire (Off The Scale, Band Slam, The Music Times and Premiere),  Off The Scale was the most popular choice. This is a good result as I was planning on calling my magazine Off The Scale right from the beginning and so this shows it is a good choice.
