Final Front Cover.

For my front cover title I used 'Off The Scale' as this was my personal favourite, but also the most popular choice of the people I gave the questionnaire to. I decided to change the 'S' to a treble clef as this makes it more obvious that it's a music magazine. I chose to put the black strip at the top so that the title would stand out more and be more appealing to an audience.

Final Contents Page.

This here is my contents page. I decided to put the word 'contents' down the side as I have never seen it done like that and I thought it looked good so I used it. It includes details of what's inside the magazine. It doesn't just give titles such as 'Jay Sean Exposed' it gives information about what's included 'Get the 'low down' on Jay Sean including his secret crush on Rihanna!'. I made sure that it includes a little bit about what the magazine is including so that it can interest the reader. I chose the gradient white to black background as I thought it looked really effective.

Final Feature Article.

This here is the feature article for my magazine. I decided to use one page for the picture of the artist because a lot of the feature articles that I looked at in other magazines does this and I believe it looks more effective than having lots of different images. On top of the image, I included a text grab, and I took an answer out of the article. I chose something which if read, will make people want to read the rest of the article to find out what the artist is talking about. I decided to put the picture in black and white as it was more effective than it was in colour. I decided to put the questions in Green so that the reader can easily tell which are the questions and which are the answers. At the beginning of the article, there is some text that is just introducing the artist and so I put this in bold so that it wouldn't get confused with being a question. I chose the title 'The Good, The Bad & The Indie because the artists genre of music is Indie.

Audience Feedback.

For my audience feedback I asked ten people of my target audience to complete a quesionnaire about my magazine and overall my feedback was good. Here are just some of the answers that the audience gave.

1. What does the title 'Off The Scale' suggest to you?

"That only the best bands are featured."

"That the bands inside are really good, they are 'off the scale'."
" That it is music based "

2. What genre/type of music does the magazine focus on and how do you know this?

"Different kinds because the artists featured on the front do different genres."

"Lots of different ones, Green Day and Kesha are on the front so it shows there is a mixture of genres."

"A mixture. You can tell this by the different artists that are on the front, different genres are shown by the different artists such as Jay Sean and Foo Fighters."

3. What makes the pages look professional and what stops them from looking professional?

"The layout of the magazine makes it look professional."

"Keeping to a certain colour scheme would have made it look more professional, then again, lots of different colours make it different to magazines you usually see. "

"The photographs are good which makes it look professional."

4. How genuine does the front cover seem?

"Very genuine."

"The fact that a barcode, date, issue number etc are included makes it look genuine."
"Looks quite genuine due to the layout."

5. Does the contents page simply inform or does it also manage to interest you in reading the rest of the magazine?

"It manages to inform me and interest me to read on."

"It informs but it also interests me to read the rest of it because it has included images."

"It includes a short line about whats included so it interests me to read on."

6. Does the article sound like a piece of journalism? if not what bits dont sound right?

"Yes it does, it sounds like someone has actually interviewed a celebrity."

"Yes."

"Some things could be changed to ensure it sounds 100% journalistic, but overall it's really good."

7. Does the article layout make you want to read it? if not why not?

"Yes because it's in different paragraphs for different questions so you know which parts are which are its easily readable."

"The layout is good, Having a page just for the picture looks really good. The article is also humerous in some parts."

"Yes, because after reading the text grab on the picture, it makes you want to know who he's talking about."

Here I have just been playing around with Photoshop to create some edits.

I quite like this idea as it's attractive and interesting. I think I would use this edit at some point during my magazine, although at the minute, I'm not sure where.
